Tookie Comes Home... Oh Lord What Have I Done!!

So I finally got my horse. His name is Tookie. He is a 16 year old quarter horse gelding. He is very sure footed which is a good trait in the mountains. He is also a little wacky, which make him fit right in with the rest of the animal family. When I got him he was very hungry, skinny from being bullied away from the food by the other horses he was with. I've had him for several months now and he looks a lot better. I've ridden him twice, which isn't very much I know, but I have to be supervised while around the horse because I've had a few accidents. As I get more confident I'll be able to ride and be by myself.

Recently Tookie took off with some wild horses while out of his corral grazing. He came back the next morning. I guess the stallion was picking on him, or maybe he just wanted some grain (sweet feed). I vacillate about keeping him, because owning a horse is a lot of work and money. Everytime I think I want to sell Tookie (yes, after I just go him), I always think of a reason to keep him. I just have to work on not being scared to ride him.
