Why I Hate Facebook

I hate Facebook because the ads look like they are part of the website. Why does Facebook allow this deception? There are goofy applications, super powers, girly gifts and the like, that keep you on the site and it is all a waste of time. The one good thing is finding people you haven't talked to in a while, but why would you actually use the site. The site is visually uninspiring to say the least. I think it is just aweful, but it seems to be the place to be (until the next big things comes along). I joined just to connect with people not to use Facebook to tell people what I'm doing or to play with the applications. I don't get it the draw of Facebook pasted the possibilities of finding people you haven't seen in a long time. This is my opinion and I'm intitles to it, so if you are a Facebook freak it doesn't matter why you love it so much I still won't.
